Playa del Carmen, is a small city, in the State of Quintana Roo, about an hour from Cancun located in the heart of the Riviera Maya. Here you can find in a bohemian atmosphere, with quiet beaches and white sand and it is also the starting point of other cultural activities like the 4x1 tour where you can meet Chichen Itza, Tulum, Coba and swim in a cenote, all in the same tour. When visiting Playa del Carmen, a mandatory stop is the "Fifth Avenue" famous for the large number of places to shop, buy souvenirs, crafts and more. Playa at night is also a very good idea for the many bars and clubs that will assure you a fun night.
